Scope Of Work
This beautiful 10,000 square foot senior center for the Village of Glendale Heights, is a wonderful representation of Tom’s architectural style during his time with Williams Architects. The style is a play of the Modern movement while incorporating the softer colors / tones with the horizontality of the Prairie revival that is so prevalent in this part of the country do to Frank Lloyd Wright’s influence. The building incorporates a Banquet Hall, Kitchen, Library, Game Room, Arts and Crafts Room, Offices and Salon.
At the time, this building was the driving inspirational force for the redevelopment of the campus.
