Scope Of Work
Russell Construction teamed with a ServiceDisabled Veteran Company and Sims and Associates Architects to design and build a 25,000 SF addition and 10,000 SF renovation of an existing 1953 era building at the VA Hospital in Dublin, GA. The nursing facility included 4 living communities tied together by a common connector with all required services and amenities. The needs of the patients and staff were addressed in several pre-design charrettes and multiple design update reviews directed by Russell Construction and Sims Architect. Coordination of steam plant, power, communications, nurse call and fire systems to campus systems was researched and completed successfully. The complete facility is a model for senior veterans nationwide. Russell Construction personnel completed all general requirements, demolition, carpentry, framing, caulk and sealants, doors, frames, hardware, handrails, guardrails, and accessories.
