LEROY NEWTON is a story that starts way back in the 1940's with two men, James Leroy Kilts and Jeffry Newton Radtke, the dads of John & Jennifer Kilts. These men instilled in them work ethic and common sense not because they intentionally tried to but because they modeled it. This is the reason they decided on Leroy Newton as the name.
To John and Jennifer, these values represented what would become the core of this company: STRONG, LOYAL, INTEGRITY AND JUST PLAIN HARD WORK.
Being the son of a carpenter, John followed in his dad's footsteps, where he quickly moved up the ranks. At thirty-three, John became a Superintendent where he fine tuned his leadership skills. Being a superintendent proved to John that he'd like his own company. A company which values its employees by providing a safe work environment, delivers a great product to clients, and creates a culture that was fun and enjoyable for everyone involved.
After staying home to raise three beautiful kids, Jennifer went back to work on the administration side of construction, where she found her calling. She spent over a decade in office management positions, learning all the ins and outs of running a company.
With John's expertise on the building side and Jennifer's experience on the paper side it just made sense to start Leroy Newton Construction, LLC in 2015. So even though LNC hasn't been a company for all that long, the knowledge of John and Jennifer together is quite extensive.
John and Jennifer Kilts are on a mission to create a "CULTURE" that is a win-win for everyone: Employees, Clients, Owners, Vendors and Subcontractors.
