Scope Of Work
Provide and install (130) Cat 6 cables in the configurations as identified during site survey and marked prints. Each will consist of (1) Cat 6 plenum cable terminated onto (1) Cat 6 jack and placed into (1) faceplate and/or surface mount box. Provide and install (130) 10’ Cat 6 blue patch cords Provide and install (1) cable support system to properly support all newly installed cabling. Label, test and certify all newly installed Cat 6 cables to industry standards. Install (3) customer-provided Cisco 52-port Gigabit network switches at existing rack CAB 2. Provide and install the following items in existing rack CAB2. (2) 24-port Cat 6 patch panels- Cat 6 inserts will be used at patch panel. As the patch panels are 1U 48-port modular panels, half of the patch panel will be left empty.
(2) 48-port Cat 6 patch panels- Cat 6 inserts will be used to fill entire patch panel. (6) 1U horizontal wire managers (130) 3’ Cat 6 blue patch cords for patching to 52-port switches (2) 3’ Cat 6 orange patch cords for 52-port switch connectivity
