Scope Of Work

This shopping center was constructed in 1993 on the former Marpal Sanitary Landfill.  Over the last 23 years the asphalt parking lot has settled in several areas leaving puddles throughout the shopping center parking lot.  Prior to our client purchasing the property another paving contractor had made failed attempts to remove the standing water and in several areas actually "dammed" the water thereby preventing it from reaching the catch basins.   With laser and rod in hand, grades were shot and a drainage correction plan was put in place. Two large sections were milled, resurfaced and striped all in the same day.  Although we were working for Home Depot directly, as a tenant of our client we still treat their business as if we were working for them directly.  A traffic control plan was put in place to minimize impact to store operations as the parking lot outdoor garden section was extremely busy with both customers and vendors coming and going.
