Building: 12 story Double Tree Hotel
Equipment Used: Systems scaffold, re-shoring, and stair towers
Need for Equipment: Complete exterior renovation

The Double Tree Hotel in Greensboro, NC was ready for an update and at 12 stories tall it was not going to be an easy task to give this building a new face. Associated Scaffolding was contacted to provide access to every inch of the building’s exterior.

The team from Greensboro, NC accomplished this with a structure built from systems scaffold surrounding the entire building. The scaffold also included a temporary stair tower for easy access to each level of the hotel. The project had a unique challenge for our team because the ground surface was not level and presented many obstacles in the way of building the scaffold base. To a overcome this challenge the scaffold base was built entirely on steel I-Beams that were cantilever inside the building’s second floor. The amazing effort and great team work from everyone involved in the project made this a very successfully job for our customer.
