Our long time client Harbor Group Management came to us with a frantic situation. It was the beginning of September and the lease for their acquisition office was ending October 31st. By the end of October over 30 of their most important employees would have no office to work from. The plan was to move them to a newly acquired building in the heart of Manhattan, however, neither the architectural, nor mechanical blueprints were completed.
Gateway worked feverishly with the design team and the client to overcome a plethora of design, budget, and lead time issues. By the time the drawings were complete enough to start construction, Gateway found themselves well into the first week of October, with only 3 weeks left until the space needed to be occupied.
Gateway worked around the clock and called in every favor at their disposal. What was the end result? A complete renovation of two floors over 10,000sqft, completed in less than 40 days, and $500,000 UNDER budget.
