Scope Of Work

Salon Lofts is located in an existing retail shopping center located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The scope of work consisted of a 6,000 SF tenant renovation to accommodate a new 36 loft hair and nail salon. Each loft is leased to an independently operating beautician. The general aesthetic of the facility maintains an industrial loft appearance, with open and exposed, roof structure, exposed ductwork, modern pendant and track lighting, non-full height partitions, and interior aluminum storefront and sliding door systems. The scopes of work included: installation of underground plumbing and electrical services, new drywall partitions, hard and soft flooring, exposed overhead HVAC and electrical infrastructure, interior and exterior storefront, custom sliding door systems, and specialty lighting. The owner provided all loft equipment, including ceramic hair-wash sinks, reclining chairs, large full-body framed mirrors, and custom mobile storage bins. The building exterior storefront glass system was modified to eliminate one existing storefront entrance and replaced with a new matching storefront glass system. The storefront scope also included replacing the main storefront entrance system, with a new storefront entry door, equipped with an electronic door locking mechanism operated by a card reader system. New building signage was installed on the existing signage structural system.
