Scope Of Work
The Warm Springs/South Fremont Community Plan Area is characterized by large-parcel developed, undeveloped and brown-field commercial and industrial parcels. The Warm Springs/South Fremont Community Plan EIR analyzed potential impacts and presented mitigation for the proposed community plan. Extant Acoustical Consulting performed characterization of the existing noise environment through the implementation of a comprehensive noise monitoring program and extensive noise modeling of the region. Extant worked with the project team to evaluate potential outcomes associated with the proposed development guidelines, from an environmental acoustics perspective, and worked to develop mitigation measures and policies to assist the City of Fremont in achieving the design goals. Results and findings of the noise and vibration analysis were developed into the noise and vibration chapter of the Warm Springs/South Fremont Community Plan EIR.
