Scope Of Work
The proposed 14th Avenue Extension Project is located in the City of Sacramento on 14th Avenue between Power Inn Road and Florin Perkins Road, within an industrial district near the eastern City limits. The proposed project would include improvements to approximately 0.5 miles of existing roadway and the construction of 0.5 miles of new roadway. Extant Acoustical Consulting was retained to perform the environmental noise and vibration assessment for the Project. The noise and vibration assessment included a field investigation, noise and vibration monitoring, computerized noise modeling using the FHWA TNM 2.5, and construction noise modeling using the FHWA RCNM. Extant prepared the Caltrans Noise Study Report for the proposed project incorporating the setting, methodology and findings of the assessment.
