Scope Of Work
The new 103,000 s.f. elementary school provides a dedicated learning environment for pre-K through 4th grade, for the first time in the district’s history. The facility includes classrooms, media center, commons, kitchen, gymnasium and track and field complex. Construction was completed on an extraordinarily tight, 10-month time frame in order to be open for the beginning of the 2015-16 school year. Sustainable elements include LED lighting throughout the facility, occupancy sensors and daylight harvesting sensors tied to the facility’s Building Automation Control network; daylighting features, polished concrete floors, exposed steel structure, decorative CMU and brick.
