Scope Of Work
The following is a general description of the project:
This project consists of the replacement of the filter valves, as well as the conversion of the actuator control system from pneumatic to electric. The project also includes the replacement of ancillary isolation valves, remediation of lead paint, and structural rehabilitation to the interior of large diameter piping and concrete surfaces in the West Filter Building, and the replacement of approximately 110 large butterfly valves that range in size from 18" to 84" in diameter and are outfitted with either new electric, hydraulic, and/or electrohydraulic valve actuators; providing electrical or hydraulic power for the actuators, replacement of flow measurement (i.e. venturi) devices, instruments, and controls; lead abatement and repainting of metal pipes; minor structural repairs and joint sealing of concrete walls.
