Scope Of Work
The principal work to be done under this contract shall consist of the following items:
Replacement of pumps
Upgrade of pumps vacuum priming system
Provide mechanical seals on pumping units
Perform non-destructive testing on wet well piping and replace if necessary
Inspection of the mechanical intake screen and repair if necessary
Upgrade to the wet well
Upgrade to the wet well and dry well building ventilation systems
Provision of air conditioning within the electrical rooms
Upgrade of electrical and pump station control system
Replacement of primary instrumentation
Replacement of emergency standby generator
Upgrade and replacement of the lightings
Replacement of the bathroom fixtures
Replacement of potable and non-potable water lines
Installation of ladder and guardrail system on station roof
Replacement of emergency eyewash
Resurface floor and coat with epoxy flooring system
Painting of walls and ceilings
Provide bypass pumping system during the renovation of the station
Provide concrete equipment pad and buried conduit for future chemical feed injection system and storage tank at separate site along Baltimore Street in West Baltimore
