Scope Of Work
Covenant Living of Cromwell's AL to ALZ conversion helps the residents enjoy an active lifestyle day-to-day activities with ease. The renovation included a large common area surrounded by nine bedrooms with furniture finishes that emulate the feeling of being home. Windows were strategically placed so residents with limited mobility have the ability to connect day vs. night.
Two previously separate rooms were renovated combined to become the SAIDO Learning Room where residents can come work on math, reading writing for thirty minutes at least five days a week. This is the first facility in New England to employ the SAIDO Learning Method. SAIDO is a Japanese originated movement that has been proven to reverse or slow the progress of dementia.
