JPL In-Situ Instruments lab. is a Two-story, 12,000 s/f facility dedicated to development of instrumentation and systems to be placed on the surface of other bodies in the solar system for scientific research. Building contains multi-disciplinary laboratories, three of which are designated Class 100,000 cleanroom level To minimize vibrations, the ISIL is constructed of cast-in-place reinforced concrete.
