Atlantic Building Contractors

Atlantic Building Contractors was established in 1992. We have strived to deliver quality homes, additions, garages and much more. Additionally, our projects include decks, sheds, siding, roofing, bathrooms and kitchens. Since 1992, we have built over a hundred additions and homes. The homes have ranged from basic starter homes to elaborate, luxurious homes.

The founder of the company, Joseph, has over 30 years of experience in building. Joseph went to vocational school to learn carpentry. He has continued his education by taking classes and seminars dealing with the construction field. In 2010, he earned a certificate from “The InstallationMasters(tm) Certified Installer Program” as a certified installer of residential and light commercial windows and exterior glass doors. Currently, Joseph is enrolled at a local university to earn a four year degree in computer programming.

Prior to starting Atlantic Building Contractors Joseph was a carpenter and the company manager for a local construction company. He has experience in the field constructing residential and light commercial projects. Also, he gained a variety of experience working in the company’s office as a manager and draftsmen. In 1992, Joseph started Atlantic Building Contractors with the goal of building quality projects, but keeping the personal touch. Joseph personally works on the projects along with our skilled employees.

Atlantic Building Contractors offers design and consultation. The designing and planning phase are both relaxing and conducive to helping our customers decide on a design that is best for them. We have samples, brochures and a conference room with a large screen monitor to display the project plans. We have invested in a virtual reality design program called “Chief Architect”. This program helps the customer to visualize their project by means of a virtual tour. The computer design and plans are used in the field in order to efficiently construct the project. This is an added benefit from that of a traditional carpenter because it helps with accuracy, reduces waste and reduces cost.

We have skilled employees that work on constructing the homes, garages or other projects. Also, we use local, qualified subcontractors take care of the plumbing, electrical and other aspects of the project. We endeavor to support companies in our community by purchasing products from them for our projects.
