Scope Of Work
Scope - Upgrade to conveyor system, cullet return system, quality inspections and packaging equipment to accept new product and packaging requirements. All work was completed during normal operations, with just short shutdowns to incorporate the equipment. All production lines were impacted during the project. Installed 2 up spiral conveyors, 1 palletizer and 1 quality inspection unit. Modifications to the design were handled by FMC where equipment did not fit as designed. Additional structural work was done to allow access to areas for maintenance and production personnel, along with improving the safety of the overall operation. Phase 1 of a 2 phase packaging project.
