Scope Of Work

SCOPE OF WORK FOR THRU-WALL FLASHING

  • -  Mobilize material, labor and equipment to job site.

  • -  Set Up swing stage and move as needed to perform the flashing work at the 6 balcony areas.

  • -  Remove one row of decorative block, clean and set aside for reuse.

  • -  Using Wire wheel clean off all deterioration and rust on metal lintels.

  • -  Coat lentils with rust inhibitor paint.

  • -  Install thru wall flashing using Perma Barrier, mastic, end dams and termination bar; 248 linear

    feet total for all 6 balconies.

    NOTE: The new flashing will overlap with the existing vinyl membrane.

  • -  Replace decorative block matching mortar as close as possible to existing

  • -  Demobilize and remove all job related debris from site.

    SCOPE OF WORK FOR GLASS TO METAL SEALANTS, WINDOW PERIMETER AND CONTROL JOINT SEALANTS

  • -  At all windows except for those previously repaired, cut back gaskets if needed and/or remove deteriorated sealants if present.

  • -  Wipe area clean with alcohol to receive new silicone glazing.

  • -  Install Dow Corning 795 Black silicone creating a 45 degree cant joint at glass to metal locations.

  • -  At window perimeters on the first and second floor and at both entrances, remove old and

    deteriorated sealants and discard off site.

  • -  Prep areas to receive new urethane sealant by cleaning free of dust , dirt and debris.

  • -  Install the appropriate primer, backer-rod and NP1 urethane sealant. Tool all joints per industry

    standards.

  • -  At all vertical control joints (except what has been replaced above the third floor), remove old

    and deteriorated sealants and discard off site.

  • -  Prep areas to receive new urethane sealant by cleaning free of dust, dirt and debris.

  • -  Install the appropriate primer, backer-rod and NP1 urethane sealant. Tool all joints per industry

    standards.

  • -  Demobilize and remove all job related debris from site.
