Scope Of Work

First Housing Development Corporation ("FHDC") completed the Credit Underwriting for Tuscany Cove Apartments. Funded with Florida Housing Finance Corporation (“FHFC”) Multifamily Mortgage Revenue Note (“MMRN”), State Apartment Incentive Loan Program (“SAIL”), Extremely Low Income Gap Loan (“ELI”) and Non-Competitive Housing Credits (“HC”), Tuscany Cove I is a new 160 unit Elderly Housing project being built in Miami Florida. 

FHDC is the construction administrator for this new development for FHFC.  Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development (“MDC-PHCD”) as well as the City of Miami have also funded part of the construction proceeds.

Amenities will include an exercise room with equipment, community center, computer lab, and a shuffleboard court. Green Building features will include programmable thermostats, energy star ceiling fans, roofing, exhaust fans, windows, refrigerators, dishwashers and washing machines.  Resident programs will include health and nutrition classes, computer training, daily resident activities, and resident assistance with light housekeeping, grocery shopping and laundry.   Construction is expected to be complete in August 2018.

First Housing is the Construction Administrator for this project and will, at completion, complete permanent loan servicing and compliance monitoring of the project. The project will be rent/income restricted and for lease to elderly tenants only.
