Scope Of Work
The development, now known as Sugar Country Apartments, is located at 626 West Avenue in Moore Haven, Glades County, Florida.
There are three (3) 1-bedroom quadplex buildings, eight (8) 2-bedroom quadplex buildings, one (1) 1-bedroom triplex and one (1) 2-bedroom triplex as well as a Clubhouse Building. There are a total of 50 Income Restricted Multifamily Affordable Housing units available. Free Resident Programs include workshops or training offering employment counseling and financial management education. All units are equipped with Energy Star appliances and lighting features.
First Housing completed credit underwriting, construction draw administration as well as Davis-Bacon and Section 3 compliance monitoring duties for the duration of construction. The project received FINAL completion status in January 2018.
First Housing is now handling project compliance monitoring and permanent loan servicing for the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.
