Scope Of Work

First Housing Development Corporation of Florida completed Credit Underwriting for the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County and the Public Housing and Community Development of Miami-Dade for the construction and permanent financing of La Joya Estates Apartments, a new 106 unit multifamily affordable housing development to be located in Naranja Florida.

First Housing is the construction administrator for the Housing Finance Authority for Miami-Dade County.  

Construction to Permanent Financing includes Housing Finance Authority State Mortgage Revenue Tax Exempt Bonds, a Public Housing and Community Development Home Loan, a Public Housing and Community Development Community Development Block Grant and an award of Housing Tax Credits.

La Joya Estates Apartments will contain 6 One-Bedroom, 66 Two-Bedroom and 34 Three-Bedroom units within 5 Three-Story residential buildings on 4.6 acres.  The project will be income restricted and subject to leasing conditions based on the permanent financing sources.
Unit Amenities will include refrigerators, range/ovens, dishwashers, ceiling fans, balcony/patios and microwave ovens.  Common amenities will include a clubhouse with community room, fitness center, laundry room, leasing office, computer lab, swimming pool with desk and playground.
