Ken Wingate founded North Point Builders in 1988 and grew the company steadily from a one-man operation to its current size, capable of handling multi-million dollar projects. He continues to oversee its day-to-day operations. With more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry, servicing organizations in the Baltimore metropolitan region and surrounding counties, Mr. Wingate brings vast industry experience and knowledge to the table to help ensure the success of every project.
Mr. Wingate is a Baltimore Polytechnic Institute alumnus and a graduate of Cornell University. Throughout his career, Mr. Wingate has been at the center of some of Baltimore's most notable and recognizable projects, such as the construction of the Baltimore Convention Center and the renovation of Baltimore City Hall.
Mr. Wingate has served on several construction industry association boards and is an active member in the community. He coached boys' lacrosse for many years, is chair of his church council, and is also Scout Master of a Boy Scout troop. In his free time, Mr. Wingate enjoys golfing, playing music, and spending time with his family.
