Scope Of Work

IDC is a privately held company that specializes in contract and public warehousing services operating in the La Porte, TX area. They specialize in chemical warehousing, general merchandise, display building & re-work, reverse logistics, cross dock/transloading, non-hazardous chemical liquid/dry drumming and repackaging, and labeling.

Project Overview

This facility was constructed using conventional steel and tilt up job cast concrete panels. The site was designed to provide grade-level entry to the offices with both grade-level and dock-high access to the shipping/receiving areas. There were also requirements to construct a facility to provide full containment in the warehouse area. The city utilities were not adequate for an Early Suppression Fast Response(ESFR) fire suppression system and an on-site water storage tank was constructed as part of the project scope. The size of this project for International Distribution Corp. allowed the project to be dried-in and finished while still erecting panels, steel, and roofing on the opposite end.
