Philadelphia Polished Concrete, Inc. was founded in order to provide the market with a much-needed company specializing in polished concrete. PPC, Inc is one of the very few companies that not only polishes, but also pours the concrete surface.  This ensures the surface has floor flatness and levelness measurements within the correct specs needed to achieve a perfect polished floor finish.

We also specialize in the correct application of stains and sealants to certify the longevity  of this sustainable, green flooring system.  If the concrete is existing, we starts with a perfect surface in order to avoid an uneven finished product.

In addition to polished concrete, PCC, Inc also installs architectural stamped concrete floors, as well as vertical walls and countertops.  Much of our work has been featured in various national publications and has been recipients of numerous awards in the concrete industry.  We are Scofield Certified Polish Applicators, as well as Local Union & Amerishop certified.  We have over 30 years invested into the concrete industry, and pride ourselves in our work.

There are many reasons to spec a polished concrete floor for almost any project, aside from the fact that it will last forever with very little maintenance.

• Polished concrete floors produce no VOCs, and since they are cleaned with just a damp mop, there are no harmful cleaning chemicals used.

• Due to the high light reflectivity of polished concrete, less light fixtures will need to be operated when natural sunlight is present.

• These flooring systems can also contribute to LEED credit for Indoor Environmental Quality (4.2, Low-Emitting Materials: Paints & Coatings).

• This surface also provides a strong measure of protection against many staining materials, such as motor oil and wine.

• The polished concrete will also improve resistance to water intrusion (i.e. flooding, compromised plumbing pipe, etc).

All of this translates to a huge cost savings over the life of the floors.
