Scope Of Work
The need for a distribution center to handle 2,000 rail cars and 25,000 trucks per year brought WCN to Brechbill & Helman. Using pre-cast wall panels by Nitterhouse Concrete Products and Varco Pruden’s pre-engineered Transbay design with SSR Roof System, Brechbill & Helman constructed the 420,000 SF building – with 15 rail siding doors and 48 truck doors – in just a little more than nine months. In fact, the owner was able to occupy the initial 220,000 SF space in only six months.
