Scope Of Work
North American Headquarters for Hino Motor Sales and Hino Motor Manufacturing. New facility is located in Novi, Michigan on an 18.5 acre site at the corner of Twelve Mile and Taft Roads. The building will combine two existing locations into this location. The new building has a two story office with a one story R & D and shop. The office area is 82,000 s.f. and the R & D area is 42,000 s.f. for a total of 124,000 s.f.
The office area is designed using an open office concept with minimal hard walled offices. The openness allows for furniture to be reconfigured as needs change. Conference rooms have glass walls and doors to allow for light penetration and the extend the feeling of openness. The building will have a full service fitness center, multi-media training room / auditorium, larger break room with exterior patio, market pantry food service, and many other employee friendly facilities.
The R & D center is a state of the art diagnostic and test center to help Hino Motors be on the leading edge of heavy truck design.
