Scope Of Work
A M King has mobilized on its second major Design-Build expansion project for Cheney Brothers, Inc. (CBI) in Statesville, NC after adding 169,090 sf in April 2019.
The expansion will include relocation of Cheney Express for more convenient customer access; a 600-sf expansion of the existing employee breakroom; and enlarging the employee locker area. Office space will be increased on the second-floor mezzanine and the existing auto/truck parking will be demolished to make way for a new employee parking lot and trailer/truck parking West of the facility. All work will be performed without disruption to the facility’s operations. The project is scheduled to be complete in Spring 2022 and will bring the total square footage to 339,134.
