Scope Of Work
The Glasstown Residence at River Park is New Jersey’s first affordable “green” senior housing. Available for those 55 and older, Glasstown Residence is a privately owned Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program building placed at a convenient location with impressive amenities.
W.S. Cumby constructed this LEED-NC Silver Certified, 72,000 SF, 74-unit senior housing facility on a brownfield site in Millville, New Jersey. The integrated design team focused on creating a building which was not only community oriented but also ecologically responsible and energy efficient. The project spearheaded Millville’s effort to revitalize its downtown district and, as a result of the building’s sustainable features, the city has begun to re-examine its ordinances to include similar green initiatives.
