Scope Of Work
A 45,000 SF school on a 7-acre campus in northwest Phoenix has a 650 student capacity to serve students in grades K–8. The building houses 28 classrooms plus common facilities in a 2 story building. Waltz was given a prototype and reduced the square footage to maximize efficiency by eliminating unneeded circulation and support spaces. Waltz also brought the building cost down significantly to meet tight budget constraints. All classrooms include natural light and the band room has an operable wall that opens to the multi-purpose room for performances.
