Scope Of Work
The Temenos Place II Apartments offers affordable housing opportunities to low-income to extremely low-income persons, as well as homeless individuals. The project is located at 2200 Jefferson Street in Houston, east of Downtown, bound by Jefferson, Hutchins, Bastrop, and St. Joseph Pkwy. The project consists of a two story, 32,500 sq ft building conversion/ renovation from an existing restaurant to a new, multi-unit living facility.
The new living facility will house a total of 80 single person units; 36 units on Level 1 and 44 on Level 2. The structure encloses space for residents’ case management offices, education facilities, job training, conference and meeting rooms, and a computer lounge.
Building exterior veneer consists of a striking exterior insulation design over a structural load baring masonry / wood wall system. The new work will consist of the redesign of the building’s exterior to include design components that fit the true nature of a Temenos Community Development Corporation project.
All the exterior site elements including landscaping, sprinklers, site utilities and recreation areas will be overhauled allowing for 43 onsite parking spaces.
Patriot is proud to be involved in this historical project along with The Mayor’s Office, City of Houston Councilman James Rodriguez, HUD, the Harris County Community Services Department, the City of Houston’s Housing and Community Development Department and the Houston Housing Finance Corporation.
The contract is valued at $7 million dollars and is expected to last 12 months.
