Scope Of Work

When Wipro, a leading international information technology services company, sought a general contractor to build-out their new 32,000-square-foot Technology Center, they chose Scott + Reid. The client’s need to accommodate their rapid growth while maintaining a tight community culture took precedence in design. The first-generation space features a customer experience center, secured open work spaces, break room, game area, executive wing and a variety of meeting rooms and support spaces.

The central communal space fosters team interaction by providing a place for coworkers to work, eat or play. The secure team offices were designed using a modular framework, housing workstations, connectivity, power and lighting, that can easily be adjusted to accommodate future change. The overall work environment is open and collaborative with small huddle rooms and lounges to provide flexible areas to work or lounge.

With an extensive approval process and use of numerous finishes, including more than 20 types of stone and tile, specialty draperies and multiple patterned carpets, the project team worked diligently to maintain open communication with the overseas client and keep the project moving forward on a tight schedule. The end result brings to life the client’s vision of timeless design that promotes employee relationships and wellness. The multi-functional, flexible work space is well-suited to house Wipro for their current needs and future growth.
