Scope Of Work

This client selected Scott + Reid to buildout an upscale spin studio in the booming Hughes Landing area of The Woodlands. The space was designed to be clean and modern, with a neutral palette and pops of color. The reception area houses the check-in desk with a natural wood top and retail display areas, but is highlighted by a large orange band of steel with circular LED lights imitating the cog of a bike wheel. The soundproof studio room, designed with multiple layers of sheetrock, is isolated from the building structure with rubber dampers, gaskets, and acoustical panels so the extremely loud music played during spin sessions is contained and does not disturb the residential units above the studio. Project scope also included a restroom/changing area, complete with showers for participants.
