Scope Of Work

Upon successful completion of this client’s Irving location, Scott + Reid was selected to build their newest 45,950-square-foot entertainment center in Allen, Texas. The venue features a full-service restaurant, full bar, private dining area, multiple areas for hosting groups, and a private event space with private bowling lanes. The facility also includes more than 25 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, laser tag arena, bumper cars, LED rock climbing wall, high-ropes course and video game area.

Coordination and scheduling were critical to the successful completion of the project. The biggest challenge the project team faced was needing to complete the building shell and interior bowling area, including flooring, electrical, paint and HVAC installation in 8 weeks to allow sufficient time for the specialty bowling vendor to complete all bowling lanes before the grand opening. Scott + Reid was also responsible for coordination and scheduling of multiple specialty client vendors, including those for kitchen equipment, gaming machines, bumper cars, laser tag, ropes course and the climbing wall.

Utilizing lessons learned from the build-out of the Irving location, Scott + Reid was able to overcome many of the challenges faced by that project team. Familiarity with project signage, additional electrical requirements and kitchen tile, amongst several others, saved the client time and money and allowed the project to remain on schedule.
