Scope Of Work
Scott + Reid was hired to perform capital improvements at Galatyn Commons – a class A property in Richardson, Texas. Interior project scope included the addition of a coffee shop and renovation to the main lobby, elevator core, cafe and servery. Exterior amenities include a full covered outdoor kitchen, IPE wood deck, custom concrete fire pit, two bocce ball courts, large sitting area with wind sails and extensive landscaping across the entire 3.8 acres.
Budgetary constraints led to multiple rounds of value engineering, but Scott + Reid was able to provide alternate solutions with similar design elements to maintain the client’s budget parameters. Key stakeholders resided in California, New York and Austin, making the need for effective, consistent communication a necessity to keep the project progressing on schedule.
