Scope Of Work
The goal of this project was to have the Chief Petty Officer Academy Challenge Course located at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma built and certified by qualified professionals in the field. Therefore, JCD reached out to industry experts to mobilize and provide/perform installation of all challenge course elements that would place the course in line with standards set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology. The end product was a course equipped with a catwalk, a zip line with platforms on both ends, two-line bridges, cargo nets, multi-vine elements, incline logs, rickety bridge, pirate’s crossing, pamper pole, giant’s ladder, wild woozie, mohawk traverse, tire traverse, up-and-over element, trust fall platforms. The challenge course was secured down with ground anchors and guy lines prior to testing and certifying the course.
