Scope Of Work
Located in Washington, DC, 1745 N Street is a new six-story condominium building and historic renovation of six existing row houses into 31 condominium units (Type III wood-frame renovation). This project includes demolition of some existing exterior rear facades, as well as the existing interior. The interiors are being rebuilt based on new unit layouts allowing some historic pieces to remain—inclusive of a grand wood staircase and exposed masonry walls. Scope also calls for repairs to the exterior brick, metal cornice, and slate roofs, as well as the replacement of all historic windows in kind. Work also includes a new below-grade parking garage to a podium with six stories of Type I-B metal composite condominium units between the existing building and the back alley.
