Scope Of Work
Phase I of the project, the North Expansion, included the addition of a single-story, 70,000SFassembly area to the Softail plant. The new assembly area included an office facility for employees. The 75,000 SF East Expansion was a two-story, multi-use addition/renovation including:
Maintenance, repair and operations space
Shipping/receiving area
Meeting room
Learning center
Kitchenette and patio area
Cafeteria renovation
Office/administrative space
The final phase, the 21,000 SF South Expansion, involved renovation work and a single-story addition. The renovation completed the new employee store, security offices, and employees’ entrance to the facility, and the addition included:
Tour center and exhibit area
Office space
Theater
Retail store
Medical facility
Physical training room/fitness center
The project also included an extensive sitework package that consisted of new site utilities, employee parking lots, truck parking lots and retaining ponds. In addition, one existing stormwater pond was reworked to add a clay liner and weir wall.
