Prior to and while Frank was in college he worked as a framing
and trim carpenter in Bryan - College Station Texas. A son of an
Architect, Frank wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father and
make his mark in the construction industry. In 1989 Frank completed
his BS in Building Construction from Texas A&M and begin working
as a Estimator in Houston Texas for a small commercial contractor.
?Frank has over 23 years of experience in Estimating. Frank
has solicited, compiled, and analyzed subcontractor and vendors
proposals during the bid process for large multimillion dollar
projects and has developed Excel Workbooks to be utilized for the
takeoff process for division 1 through 48. Frank has run Estimating
Departments in four multifamily and commercial companies. He has
worked on a Mentor-Protege program with Turner / Construction and 3i
Construction with the Estimating Department of Turner.
Frank has been involved with The Society of Professional
Estimators for the past 8 years. Frank earned his Certification as a
Professional Estimator in 2005 and continue to grow with the
association becoming the President of Chapter 43 in 2006. Frank
served two and half years as the President where he grew the chapter
from 20 members to over 70 members. He also assisted over 70
estimators in Dallas in getting their certifications and was awarded
the National Chapter Certification Chairmen of the year for three
out of the four years he was Certification Chairmen. He served in
both the National Certification Committee and the National Education
Committee. Frank currently is service his second run as the Chapter President.
