Scope Of Work
Cain Contracting was selected by the USDA to rehabilitate the historic clock tower atop Building 3 on their Beltsville campus. The clock tower was severely damaged by the tornado in 2001 and deteriorated rapidly since then. Cain Contracting restored the original wood structure to its integrity, and the scope also encompassed electrical and paint scraping as well. The project required stringent safety measures due to the occupied building, elevated work area, and complex scaffolding that was necessary to ensure on time, on budget, and safe completion of the project..
