Scope Of Work

The City of New York's contract provided for the reconstruction of James J. Walker ball field. The work included providing new synthetic turf, sports field lighting and related electrical work, construction of a new backstop, installation of spray bollard and drinking fountain, new asphalt, concrete and unit pavement, and installation of new and restored chain link fencing. Plumbing work required providing a new water connection with RPZ to service the ball field. Concrete work included modification of the existing concrete bleachers, ADA ramp, curbs, colored concrete pavement and sidewalks. Tree work included pruning of over forty trees in the park. Fencing work required extending chain link fence heights, adding additional rails, new mesh and painting of CLF frames.
