Scope Of Work

The Crosby High School athletic field improvement project was spawned out of necessity to replace aging fields that were a cause for injury concern to athletes and in desperate need of a face lift. Turco Golf Inc. was contracted to oversee the construction and management of the project. A new synthetic turf athletic field was installed to replace the natural grass field that existed before it. An elaborate, state-of-the-art track and field area was set up in and around the new turf field. Many trades went in to the construction phase of the project: erosion control, demolition, asphalt milling and disposal, earthwork, drainage, asphalt paving of the track and sidewalk areas, stone base installation and field grading, synthetic turf field installation, turf drainage, track surfacing, fence installation, electrical installations, sports field equipment installation, scoreboard installation, lawn installation and furnishing of trash receptacles.
