Scope Of Work

Our history with artist John August Swanson goes back several years. Our first project for him was a large wallcovering installed at the Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA. Upon completion, the clergy, staff and parishioners were thrilled with the result.

This project involved the making of two large wall coverings for installation at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, CA. The first piece, titled “THE RIVER,” is 6’ wide by 18’ tall. The second piece, titled “Psalm 85”, is 8’ wide by 6’ tall.

Known for his use of bright colors and religious themes, artist John August Swanson’s work is world reknown. “These two murals took many months of work and planning,” say the artist, “I am very happy for Ascension Lutheran, and excited to let you know of this new installation.” John’s artwork tells a visual story of passages from the Bible. Mpressions is proud to play a role in getting John’s inspired work enlarged and installed for all to see.
