Scope Of Work
Frontier Services, Inc. managed a Firm Fixed-Price, Remedial Action Task Order at the 155th Air Wing, Nebraska Air National Guard (NANG) Base, Lincoln, Nebraska. The primary purpose of the Remedial Action was to address contamination “hot spots” and the source of measurable free product/Iight non-aqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) and dissolved hydrocarbons in groundwater.
The significant components of this project included multiple excavations and transportation/disposal of contaminated soil, installation of a biosparge system and constructing an on-site groundwater treatment system for LNAPL and excavation related groundwater.
Because the NANG Base is an active installation co-operating with the Lincoln Municipal Airport, significant communication and coordination between field personnel and the local stakeholders was critical to the safe and successful execution of the project.
