Scope Of Work
Frontier Services, Inc. as part of the Frontier-Arrowhead Joint Venture, LLC, was awarded a Design-Build contract for construction of a new, Visiting Quarters on Base property. The project structure comprises 2,500 gross square feet and contains six, double occupancy guest rooms.
The facility is pre-engineered, metal construction with standing seam metal roof, metal wall panels, concrete slab, aluminum windows, and hollow metal doors and frames. The project includes PTHP units, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, electrical, communications, cable TV (two outlets in each guest room), and a mass notification system. Site work included site preparation, grading, installation of approximately 50 feet of sidewalks and 1 ADA compliant access ramp, and underground utility lines including sanitary sewer service connections.
Special design considerations include passive solar and sound attenuation features.
