Our Story
RepOne is owned and operated by Derek Graham, master scheduler. Graham has been CPM scheduling construction projects since 1993. In that time, he progressed from medium sized luxury residential projects, to large-scale infrastructure and transit oversight consultant, including MTA’s capital construction portfolio: SAS, 7 Line Extension, ESA, Hudson Yards, WTC Hub, FSTC, and Jamaica Interchange (Harold). He also created the baseline for the HP-238 Huntspoint Digestor Facility.
From 2014, RepOne began scheduling megaprojects, such as the $350M SUNY MART (medical arts research training hospital) at the SUNY Stony Brook campus. He scheduled the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel Sandy Rehab, 1 Seaport, a $75M luxury condominium, and TSX at 1568 Broadway, a mixed-use Theater restoration-lift, and rebuilt 46 story retail-hotel, valued at $2B.
Graham has served as both oversight consultant and expert witness for schedule delay and disruption claims, since 2006. He uses the same Deltek Acumen 360 Suite family of software - Fuse, Risk, and Accelerator, data-driven solutions mandated by DCMA, DOD, GAO, NASA, and many O&G, aeronautic, energy, and environmental organizations. As of 2020, no other New York scheduling organization operates this elite family software.
Graham’s 35 years in the building industry gives him several advantages that most other schedulers lack:
- 23 years in the field as a mechanic, superintendent, and project manager
- 15 years as a project estimator
- 25 years as a project scheduler
His insight from a builder’s perspective lends high-level practical expertise where most other schedulers rely on theoretical and technical. He talks the talk and walks the walk.
In 2006, McGraw Hill published Graham’s “Managing Residential Construction Projects: Strategies and Solutions,” which is used in several education curriculums, including Columbia University.
NEW for 2020
RepOne now offers contractor web design and development services through HVWebdesign.net, a service committed to specialty contractors and small business enterprises in the Tri-State market area.
HV Web Design is a craft web-site developer, working with small businesses, artists, consultants, contractors, writers, and bloggers, in the Hudson Valley region.
I guide you through the process, and work through the process of securing a new website domain, which I develop and customize Wordpress and Squarespace platforms.
Once the theme is set up, I work with you to bring your ideas to text and images that convey the message you want to bring to your audience.
Once you have a website, you’ll need to load it up with content - images and text about who you are and what you do.
Finally, SEO (optional) is employed. If your site doesn’t rank, you don’t pay for it.
Once your site is live, it needs to be managed (optional). Plug-ins and WP engines need to be updated, added. Security and backup needs to be established. Adding and deleting content will keep the site fresh and up to date.
