Scope Of Work
Phase I, City Point, Brooklyn, NY; a 500,000 SF mixed-used structure included concrete pads for two future podium tower bases. The project is shoe-horned in between Flatbush Avenue and Fulton Street, in downtown Brooklyn, and involved tricky sequencing, and coordination with the MTA.
The project was broken out into several irregularly shaped sectors. Support of excavation was carefully sequenced with excavation, concrete placement, and deck/concrete pours. Two-cranes were to be used. The coordination delay of a subway station entrance nestled against the site along Flatbush Avenue required complicated resequencing.
