Scope Of Work
Granite is the lead firm of the joint venture chosen to construct a light rail transit system across the greater Houston area. The scope of this project includes the design and the construction of all elements, including the coordination of utility relocations, 20 miles of track work along four corridors, light rail traction power and overhead catenary systems, communications systems, 36 transit stations, street reconstruction, and nine bridges.
