Scope Of Work

When Christian Louboutin creates, the world watches.

The famed French designer recently released his first fragrance line. The three scents–Bikini Questra Sera, Tornade Blonde, and Trouble in Heaven–are enticing both by name and by nose. But what really sets the fragrances apart from the standard allure is the design. The keepsake.

The Louboutin perfume bottles themselves are works  art designed by renowned architect Thomas Heatherwick, the man behind masterpieces from London to Hong Kong to Cape Town.

Duggal Visual Solutions was entrusted to harness Christian Louboutin’s signature showmanship and vision into a set  truly “traffic-stopping” window exhibits at Saks Fifth Avenue in   City. Led by Duggal engineer Julio Egoaguirre, artist and designer Cameron May, and visual consultant Tracy Pisarczyk, Duggal Visual Solutions produced four unique environments, each embodying the mood  a particular Louboutin fragrance. All  the forced perspectives, 3D effects and production files for the windows were created in the Maya computer program, while Avin Presaud and Hamel Mohammed played pivotal roles in construction and fabrication.

The displays include:

3D backdrops

Sleek custom light boxes

Spot varnishes and mixed materials to create subtle textures and depth

Printing direct to carpet and gaming suede

A tapered platform covered in carpet

A video loop on the Saks WOW Wall

Custom artwork for the Saks WOW Spots chandeliers
