Scope Of Work

As part of the MATOC (Multiple Award Task Order Contract) that Robinson Construction holds with the Georgia National Guard, Robinson was awarded the Upgrade Exterior Building 2079 Project at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. The main purpose of the project was to renovate and improve the overall look of the exterior of Building 2079. This project included the installation of a brick veneer on the exterior walls of the building and new storefront glass. Also included in this project was the installation of three aluminum canopies; one installed over the side walk to the main entrance of the building and two installed over the side entrance doors. A privacy fence with brick columns was installed around a concrete patio area and new sod was laid around the building. Building 2079 is a vital communications center for Robins AFB with a great deal of daily in and out traffic. Robinson Construction was able to keep the building fully accessible and functional throughout construction. The project was completed on schedule with a contract duration of five months.
