Scope Of Work
Robinson Construction was selected to complete the balance of plant piping for a 250MW combined cycle power plant for Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation. The work consisted of fabrication and installation of steam, natural gas, and cooling water piping, among other systems. The fabrication was completed in Robinson’s fabrication shop and streamlined using CADWorx/Pipe 3D software to create spool drawings from the isometric drawings that were provided by the owner’s engineer. Fabrication and field installation of the piping allowed Robinson to have complete control of the schedule, ensuring delivery of all systems by the plant’s first fire date.
